Ferghettina Franciacorta

The Franciacorta wine region lies in the Lombardy region of northern Italy. For years, Franciacorta has been compared to Champagne, because the two wines use the same bottle-fermentation method and primary grape varieties ut the comparisons end there. The best Franciacortas have their own identity from the region's unique microclimate and volcanic and glacial soils. 95% Chardonnay and 5% Pinot Noir this is soft and creamy with yellow apple fruit flavours and some nutty flavours. Only 11% of Franciacorta is exported - the Italians like to keep it fr themselves!
